Vision Photography is run by professional photographer and photographic safari guide, Villiers Steyn, who has been taking photographs for over two decades.

Villiers Steyn started taking photographs as a teenager, but pursued his first love after high school by studying Nature Conservation. He obtained his Masters Degree from the Tshwane University of Technology after completing a four-year leopard movement study in Botswana's Northern Tuli Game Reserve. In Botswana, Villiers was able to develop his wildlife photography skills, a passion which grew so much that he decided to make it a part of his career after finishing his leopard research.

In early 2008, Villiers started Vision Photography, a photographic company specialising in photographing anything and everything beautiful. Soon after, he focused his attention on travel photography and before the year was over he was submitting not only photographs, but feature articles to one of South Africa's top travel magazines. Since those early days, Villiers Steyn has become a household name to South Africans who love reading about the sub-region's wild places in local travel magazines. Villiers currently photographs lodges and guesthouses in the Lowveld and leads private photographic safaris throughout Southern Africa. He also teaches private photography and Adobe Lightroom lessons in and around Hoedspruit and the rest of the Lowveld.
